God asked Ezekiel to prophetically act out 430 years of Israel’s punishment. This is a deep study put forward by Grant Jefferies, a prophesy scholar, but here it is in summary: Ezekiel prophesied when Israel would become a nation again – to the date! Cyrus conquered Babylon in 539 BC. Three years later, in 536 BC, Cyrus allowed the Jews to go home to Israel. God told Ezekiel that the Jews would be punished for 430 years for their disobedience. 70 years passed, leaving 360 years. When Cyrus freed the Jews from exile in Babylon in 536 BC, most Jews decided to stay in the pagan land they grew up in. Telugu to Tamil dictionary. In Leviticus (Leviticus 26:18, Leviticus 26:21, Leviticus 26:24 and Leviticus 26:28) God tells the Jewish people that if they do not repent while being punished, their punishment will be multiplied by seven times. 360 years x 7 = 2,520 years
2,520 years x 360 days = 907,200 days (based on the ancient 360-day calendar of the Bible)
907,200 days / 365.25 days (today’s calendar) / year = 2,484 years.
EXACTLY the number of years between 536 BC and 1948! The year Israel became a nation – again! OK. JUST WOW!
