Extreme Truth Ministries is a ministry of Truth, in Love.
Bruce and Pam Coy, the founders of ETM have been married since 1982 and live in Summerville, SC. They are convinced that they were given the call by God for this media ministry in 2002.
The preparation and maturing of the Coys, the revelation of God’s vision, coupled with God’s perfect timing, has brought them to a time and place such as this.
The Mission is clear.
The Truth, In Love. God gave the Coys a simple vision: the Truth without Love is offensive; Love without Truth is deceptive and deadly.
The Message is simple.
The Bible is true. All of it. We boldly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost by teaching the Bible. We attack divisions in the body of Christ head-on, with the Extreme Truth, In Love, to draw Christians together in the fellowship and unity of one God, one Spirit and one Salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Method is Media.
ETM’s founders have over a half-century of combined media experience, having been at the top of their respective media fields operating behind and in front of the cameras, and having developed communications on every platform, through every available channel. The Coys have now dedicated all of their time, talent and treasure to this call from God.
The primary ministry outreach supported by Extreme Truth Ministries is Frontline Jerusalem TV. The founders of Extreme Truth Ministries, Bruce and Pam Coy, are also part of the founding team behind Frontline Jerusalem TV. Their desire is simple: to use their time, talent, and resources to stand with Israel, bless the Jewish people, and help Christians understand why Israel matters to God and should matter to every believer.
FRONTLINE: Jerusalem – Commentaries
In addition to their professional careers, (Bruce & Pam CV,) the couple has been preparing for this ministry for years. Some highlights include volunteer work that ranges from youth leadership, crisis ministries, speaking in churches about Creation Science and supporting Israel; to mostly volunteer and some paid media work that includes national and international TV and radio broadcast productions in support of Israel, and developing websites and capital campaign videos and CDs for churches.
Bruce has also lobbied congress in Washington in support of Israel; and produced media, gave money and attended the delivery ceremony of a bomb shelter in Israel.
The couple has three children: Julian, Carra and Gabe. Their son Julian was born in 1988. He went Israel in 2006 at 17, in Bruce’s place as a volunteer with Israel Always, to pray for the victims of the Lebanon war. Julian ended up at the front lines, praying with soldiers and giving them American flags, telling them that Christians in America love, and stand by them. He is a disabled Navy veteran. He served on the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier in the Persian Gulf Yes, the Straight of Hormuz. He graduated Computer Engineering at Clemson. He is now a senior software engineer / AI Architect for a FINTECH firm doing international financial forensics for some of the largest banks and transaction platforms in the world. He is married, and has one son. They reside in Greenville, SC.
The couple’s daughter Carra is 6’6” and was born in 1990. In 2010 when she was 19, Carra traveled to Israel as a member of the Liberty University basketball team representing the USA in the International Friendship games. They won! She got baptized in the Jordan River, and she was able to share with many, including Palestinians, who didn’t have enough players, so she volunteered to play on the Palestinian team. She finished at Charleston Southern playing basketball, and studied speach therapy, marketing and counseling. She is married and lives and works in Seol, South Korea.
The couple’s son Gabriel Michael Coy was born on May 03, 2003. Click here to read Gabe’s Story. Gabe left this world on August 21, 2011 on Pam’s birthday – his rebirth into eternity with our Lord Jesus Christ, in Heaven. He was here for a season, and was the toughest, sweetest, most loving, happiest kid in the world. The love, joy and happiness that he gave, was pure and selfless. He smiled and laughed through so much pain and suffering, and all who knew him are better for it. It was the best job, the best ministry, with the most blessings than anyone could have ever dreamed of. The Coy’s miss him dearly, but know they will see him again!Gabe was prenatally diagnosed with Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrome Gabe began having open heart surgeries within weeks of his birth. Although Gabe couldn’t talk, he communicated well. He didn’t walk well do to hip dysplasia, and needed a wheel chair for any distance. Early on, he ate all of his meals through a g-tube, but improved dramatically, talking less than half his nourishment that way. He had a rigorous medication and therapy schedule, and he saw various specialists and doctors on a frequent basis. All totaled, Gabe spent over 600 nights in the hospital; Pam spent all but a few of those with him. After three major open heart corrective surgeries, many dozen’s of heart catheters and many other procedures for other issues – and ultimately, a heart transplant, Gabe was doing great. He started going to school, learning, growing, and the family was concerned about his care beyond their lifetimes. God called him home suddenly, and breaking hearts that only God could mend.
One lesson, among many Blessings Gabe brought to the Coys – if losing a child can break hearts so completely and cause so much pain, even knowing that the loss is but for a time, for those who know Jesus; how much more must it must break God’s heart to lose a soul for eternity by rejecting Jesus. Pam says it best: God gives us free will, and this time on earth is for the choosing. True love is when you choose to love. God loves us so much, He gives us the choice to choose Jesus freely, and live with Him in Heaven for eternity; or reject Him, and spend eternity separated from God. The Bible calls it Hell.
