YOU CAN KNOW FOR SURE! READ ON, AND FIND OUT!

Before I tell you what the Bible says, if you don’t believe in God, it will make no sense to you. I know this, because that is exactly how I was. During this impossible mission of proving that God exists, and further, establishing which belief in God is focused on the one TRUE God, I will share my path to belief in God. For most of my life, I vacillated between being an atheist (no God) to an agnostic – a belief in some form of God, but not sure that any belief system was right or wrong. My prayer is that some of you will identify with my journey and find God, but my deepest prayer is that ALL of you find God, because that is His desire.

I didn’t sincerely acknowledge the possibility that there was a living, active God until I was in my mid-thirties. I didn’t KNOW the one TRUE God until I was 41. In fact, I can zero in on a specific day in July, 2001 when the Truth hit me like a freight train – more on this later. If you REALLY want to know if God is real, and which belief system about God is the TRUTH, the good news is this: no matter how educated or spiritual you think you are, or no matter how down-to-earth and basic you think you are, seek the Truth, and the Truth will find you.

A WORD OF CAUTION
There are so many “proofs” about God, but there are just as many “proofs” of false gods and false spiritual truths. There is no hiding the fact that this website is all about Christianity. To approach this topic from any other point of view would be dishonest, but please understand – your search for Truth will never end until you find it. So keep looking until you KNOW it!

GATES OF TRUTH
Imagine hundreds or even thousands of “truth” gates. Some are well-known, while others are mystical and obscure. Imagine that every gate, except one, is wide. Most of the gates, except one, claim to have wide, winding paths to them. Some gates of “truth” claim that many roads lead to them. Others claim that all roads can lead to them. All claim to be valid. All claim to lead to God or some form of enlightenment or Nirvana. Behind each gate is a maze of feelings, beliefs, emotions, doctrines, codes of living, sciences, philosophies – and proclamations of “truth.” It can be mind boggling – it IS mind boggling. I’ve been through many of those gates, so I empathize. You may say that you are comfortable with your truth, and that you respect other peoples’ beliefs. So why can’t Christian’s accept and respect your beliefs? Be honest with yourself. Just how sure are you about what you believe? Are you willing to die for it? Are you willing to die so just ONE person comes to believe it? Wouldn’t you like to KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt? Read on then.

Well, here you are – in front of a well-known, narrow gate. The road to it is straight and narrow. In fact, it’s the ONLY straight and narrow road to the ONLY narrow gate! Yes, this Truth gate is labeled JESUS CHRIST in big, bold letters. Nothing subtle about it. You may think you’ve been through it once already, or have at least looked in. Read John 14:6 – “. . . I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” A VERY bold statement made by JESUS CHRIST Himself. What if it’s TRUE? As you learn more about Christianity, you’ll find that it teaches there are many “false” Christs, and “false” teachers of Christianity. False Christian gates? How can you know the difference? Let’s face it – we are seeking the supernatural here. If God is real, He could convince you, don’t you think? You haven’t come this far without at least thinking it might be true – that there is a God. So keep going!

Before we continue, let go of what you think you know about Christianity and OPEN THIS GATE NAMED JESUS CHRIST. It’s easy to find. It’s the only one with a single, straight, narrow path and a narrow gate. Most of the other gates are wide and have many winding paths. The other gates all look and sound good. They all make you feel good, and they are easy to enter because the gates are wide. Here’s some STRAIGHT TALK: You must decide to sincerely – or better – to desperately – seek the Truth. Being desperate for knowledge of God is VERY good! You must be willing to give up your current comfort zones, and “cry out” for Truth. If you don’t, you will seek in vain. The world is full of spirits. There are many spirits that will seduce and deceive you into believing an eternally condemning “false” truth. It’s not until you find THE TRUTH that all the other “false truths” are revealed, making them easy to recognize. Sounds kind of like the chicken or the egg, doesn’t it? Well, here’s a simple, guaranteed MAP to the straight and narrow path, and a KEY to the narrow gate named JESUS CHRIST (it’s a prayer):

“Dear God in Heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ, if you are real, please reveal yourself and your Truth to me. I need to know the Truth. Please God, guide me to the right people and right resources to overcome my disbelief. But most importantly God, if you are real, and if you are “ALL POWERFUL”, remove the barriers to my disbelief. Reveal Your Truth to me. Please God, PROVE to me that you are real! Please, I need to know the Truth.” AMEN.

Now don’t expect a flaming chariot with an angel to show up with a note from God. Could God do this? Yes. If He does, PLEASE call me!! Will He? I don’t know, but it did not happen that way with me, or with most of the Christians I know. HERE’S ANOTHER KEY: Just allow the possibility that God, since He is real, can place desires, curiosities and circumstances to operate in your normal life as you honestly seek the Truth . . . do this, and the Truth WILL find you! You will be amazed at how clear and how fast it will come. Now, back to the threshold question . . .

DOES GOD REALLY EXIST?
The best way to introduce many of these ideas is to go back to my story. The key points identified in my life may seem nonsensical, but as they play out, you’ll see a pattern. Building blocks of Truth, mixed with “false” truths, keeping me perfectly confused and doubtful about any of the tough questions on the meaning and purpose of life. Then, you’ll read how an overwhelming, immediate and irrefutable Truth knocked me to my knees – literally – that changed my life forever. I mean FOREVER!
