The Miracles of the KJV Bible.
This is a topic that I have been following for over 20 years. There are some KJV supporters whom believe that you cannot be saved unless you read a King James Bible. THIS IDEA IS RUBBISH!
I do agree with them on one point – I believe it to be the perfectly preserved Word of God in the English Language. Better than the Scofield Bible, which gave deference to Wescott & Hort. The Geneva Bible was a very good pre-cursor to the KJV, but even more difficult to read.
As stated on the first page on this issue: VERY IMPORTANT – PLEASE KNOW: Salvation through belief, faith and trust in Jesus Christ is NOT dependent upon which Bible version you read. In fact, you can be saved by HEARING the Word of God, not even having read the Bible. The MOST important thing is that YOU READ HIS WORD AND GET IT INTO YOUR HEART. BELIEVE IT. REPENT. RECEIVE THE FREE GIFT OF SALVATION BY TRUSTING IN JESUS!

For more than four centuries, the King James Bible has profoundly shaped Christianity throughout the English-speaking world and far beyond it. Since its publication in 1611, its words have crossed oceans with missionaries, been preached in churches and revivals, carried into prisons and battlefields, translated and quoted throughout missionary movements, and woven themselves into literature, law, music, education, and everyday language. Generations have memorized its words, families have passed it from parent to child, and countless Christians have encountered the Gospel of Jesus Christ through its pages. No book in human history can rival its influence.
But there is something hidden within its words that is even more extraordinary.
Researcher and evangelist Brandon Peterson and his Truth is Christ ministry has spent thousands of hours documenting intricate numerical patterns embedded in the precise English wording of the King James Bible—patterns that disappear when its wording is altered.
Among his findings:
- Jesus occurs 980 times in his defined “pure” count—490 + 490, echoing Christ’s “seventy times seven”;
- Jesus + Christ total 1,554 occurrences, or 777 + 777;
- even broader Christ-centered word combinations produce 5,929, or 77 × 77;
- and Peterson proves that the complete standardized KJV text contains 823,543 words and numbers—7⁷.
- He has documented additional patterns involving 153, 666, 777, 7,777 and other biblically significant numbers, frequently appearing in contexts connected with the very biblical themes those numbers represent. Peterson points out that these prominent patterns DO NOT reproduce in modern translations.
The Bible that transformed nations, contains an internal mathematical fingerprint—one that its translators themselves never knew was there. It is the fingerprint of God!
Numerical patterns are not the words of the Gospel; nor should faith rest upon them; Peterson emphasizes that distinction. But as these patterns withstand careful independent verification, they present a powerful case for the divine authorship of God’s Word, and for the TRANSLATION of the King James Bible. “The words of the LORD are pure words… purified seven times” (Psalm 12:6 KJV).
